How much food is in a weekly delivery?
Each share contains about 7-10 items each week. The variation depends upon the season and the specific items.
How many people can a share feed?
Depending on your eating patterns, a share will feed approximately 2-4 people. Some members use their share as their sole source of produce during the season, while others use it to supplement what they are already buying at farmerʼs markets or the store.

What if I can’t pick up my share during the allotted time? Or, what if I'm on vacation?
It is important to find a way to get your share during the stated time frame. If you cannot get to the pickup location on time or are out of town, we suggest sending a friend or family member in your place. Itʼs a great way to introduce the CSA to others. We cannot guarantee that shares will be available outside of the stated pickup time.
Are Sweet Georgia P’s produce and eggs shares organic?
We grow all of our produce in organic compost and use only organic fertilizers but are not certified. However, we do sell many items that come from certified organic farms.
Where is the CSA food coming from?
Sweet Georgia Pʼs Farm Alliance is a cooperative of MA farms. The produce comes directly from the farms to your neighborhood. The produce is collected and bagged on our member farms, and then taken directly to pickup locations. The produce is never held in a warehouse or off-site facility.
Can I choose what’s in the CSA share?
At this time, there is not an option to choose whatʼs in your weekly share. We do, however, send additional produce to the pick-up locations from which you may exchange and unwanted item. Other than that, we believe that with a good recipe (which we provide at the beginning of the season and we invite members to post their favorites on our Facebook page), youʼll learn to enjoy the diversity of produce in your share. Most members find new favorites.
